Worklink
Worklink is the employment department within Workwise dedicated to helping you get the right job, and to prepare you for work, volunteering or the right training.
Worklink has experienced IAG (information, advice and guidance) trained Employment Advisers who will guide you through the preparation and processes of gaining employment.
The Employment Adviser will sit down with you for a one-to-one session either at Workwise or on an outreach basis around Suffolk. Together you can plan your best option including:
- Worklink Employment Support Programme (WESP)
- Work Skills induction Programme (WSIP)
- Individual support and IAG sessions
- Employability Workshops with or without an NOCN qualification
- A two-day motivational GOALS course.
You will be able to discuss in confidence your situation and your need for paid or voluntary employment, further training options, or support to ask the Job Centre for a benefit check.
Worklink work closely with all other Workwise departments and provide a number of training options. Many employability courses can be accessed in isolation and are useful, easy-going events packed with helpful information.
Worklink also has links with SAM Project (CSV) in Ipswich – a very creative programme for people who lack confidence and are interested in media using radio, television, photography and web design. For more information speak with Faye on 01473 418036.
