Work-based Training
Workwise engages with service users at any stage in their individual journey to recovery, which follows the NIACE (National Institute of Adult Continued Education) plan through training, volunteering and employment.
Work-based training offers the individual the opportunity to engage in a genuine work environment, use appropriate business communication and procedures, build confidence and work stamina and learn new technology and skills that are used in today's workplaces. This is an opportunity that most individuals without work would never expect to be able to access, so this is your opportunity!
"I get a great deal out of coming to Workwise - working with other people in an environment that is not too stressful... I'm learning new skills and hope I have gained confidence. At first I was very anti-technology, but now look forward to learning how to work the various machines concerned with my department."
